Custom checkering and wood carving is a personal favorite activity of mine. I do all the work with hand tools without the aid of a power cutter. Special custom designs are offered and if you would like to design your own pattern, I will try hard to meet your wishes.

Designs can be a combination of checkering bordered by carving to about any degree you like. I use 16, 18 and 20 LPI as it seems to be the most usefull and requested.

Nothing says pride of ownership like a good custom checkering job on a great stock. It also helps less fancy wood look better, have more utility and just feels better in the hand.
